The Brindley Engineering approach to hiring top talent.

At Brindley Engineering we hire driven, talented individuals and empower them to solve real-world challenges with creativity and an innovative mindset. And we understand that choosing the right organization is one of the most important career decisions you’ll make. No matter where you are in your journey, we would love to meet you – even if you haven’t followed a ‘traditional’ path. For example, do you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering but a passion for Marketing? No problem. Did you study Civil or Structural Engineering but are intrigued by finance? We’ve got opportunities for that too. The best part of being in the Brindley Engineering family is you have the freedom to forge your own path and create your own story.

Here are a few of those stories.

Meet Jack Fuller: From Welding to Technician

Jack Fuller began his career as a professional welder. He had the opportunity to transition to a non-destructive testing (NDT) technician, which he remained in for 4 years. During that time, he met a colleague and friend, Justin Arnold, who became Jack’s mentor and helped him improve his skills as an NDT Technician. They both decided to leave their employer and went their separate ways. A year later, Justin – who took a job at Brindley Engineering – reached out to Jack and shared that Brindley Engineering had been a great place to work where he had an opportunity to expand his inspection knowledge and experience beyond NDT inspection. Jack decided to join Brindley Engineering and has since had the chance to travel to multiple states, learn new skills, and work with amazing people.

Meet Pablo Ramirez: From Intern to Piping Engineer

Pablo Ramirez was attending Northern Illinois University (NIU), majoring in Mechanical Engineering when he decided to check out an NIU career fair to try to get an internship. At that career fair, Pablo noticed that his ex-classmate and NIU Alumni, Michael Picard, was the representative at Brindley Engineering’s booth. Through a great conversation with Michael, he learned how Michael’s career had progressed at BE. After that discussion, Pablo knew he wanted to become an intern for BE and secured the internship? With Brindley Engineering he gained real-world engineering experience in piping design, layout, and engineering including advanced 3D software modelling and field inspections. When Pablo graduated from NIU, he transitioned to be an engineer with BE and continues to expand his knowledge and grow in our industries.

Meet Cristina Rincon: Realizing the American Dream

Cristina Rincon was a successful and accomplished Mechanical Engineer who worked at a major refinery in Venezuela and Curacao. Cristina and her husband decided to move to the United States in hopes of living the American Dream. Unfortunately, she applied for numerous mechanical engineering jobs but was rejected because she had no US work experience and took a job as a 3rd shift machine operator in the interim. She never gave up and continued to apply for mechanical engineering jobs.  Brindley Engineering recognized her skills and work ethic, and Cristina was hired at BE as a Mechanical Engineer, where she is now leading projects at a major refinery and living the American Dream.
